There are a few spaces open in the next Collage and Mixed Media Exploration Class at the Duxbury Art Association! DM to sign up. We had so much fun during the first session of Collage Explorations that we are continuing on. There are just a few openings to join in on the next 6 weeks of FUN. Collage Exploration with Mandy Fariello Six weeks in August and September on Friday afternoons. Classes are held in the (air-conditioned) DAA studio at the Ellison Center for the Arts, 64 St. George Street, Duxbury, MA August 5th,12th, 19th, 26th and September 2nd, 9th 1:00-2:30 pm each day $75 for the series of 6 classes. Payment is due on or prior to the first class and can be made via Venmo, Paypal, or check made out to Mandy Fariello Each week we’ll explore a different method, set of materials or technique. You’ll learn how to apply traditional principals of design and structure to your collages while experimenting and having fun! I will provide some supplies from my stash (aka: the HOARD), but you should bring your favorite glue (we’ll discuss options at the first class), scissors, x-acto knife, a mixed media sketchbook (80-140lb) or loose paper, and a self-healing cutting mat.
