I received a question this week about white pens so I did a little test ... The paper is painted with acrylic paint. My favorites are the Elmer's Painters Opaque Marker and the Signo Uniball white gelpen. I also really like the softer line of the General's Charcoal White pencil. I suspect that the pencil will be smudgy unless it is fixed. ... Class number two of "Collage Explorations" is in the books! We did three different projects designed to help participants find what lights them up with collage. First we added words to our surreal creatures from last week. Gotta love those large print trashy novels!🤭 Next we each chose a shape and a structure to explore. It is amazing to me how they all come out so different! Finally, everyone made a freehand bullseye from many different papers. Then we cut them into quarters and reassembled the pieces. After class we took a field trip to the Art Complex Museum to see the collages on display. Whew!
